Tim Horton Events Centre

Cochrane, Ontario is the home of a beautiful recreational facility called the Tim Horton Events Centre. A state-of-the-art facility that sports an arena, public pool, museum, and community hall.
Tim Horton Events Centre

Our recreational centre

Cochrane is the birthplace of Tim Horton, a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame who founded the Tim Hortons doughnut and coffee shop chain back in 1964. Horton also grew up playing ice hockey in Cochrane. In 1948, he signed with the Toronto Maple Leafs organization; eventually winning four Stanley Cups and becoming a legendary stature for the historic franchise. And so, this state-of-the-art and newest recreational complex in Northeastern Ontario was named after Mr. Horton. Learn all about the centre’s extensive features and what it brings to the community.
