The newly formed James Bay OPP Detachment Board – Board 3 is recruiting for a Community Representatives to serve on the Board.

The Community Representative position is an opportunity for interested residents to participate in setting objectives and priorities for the James Bay OPP Detachment – Board 3 to enhance the quality of life and ensure the safety and security of all persons and property in the detachment.

The James Bay OPP Detachment Board – Board 3 comprises of:

• One member appointed by each of the following municipalities, who is a member of the Council of the municipality of the Town of Cochrane, Town of Moosonee and Town of Smooth Rock Falls, for a total of three members;
• Two members appointed by the Town of Cochrane who are neither members of Council of, nor employee of the municipality – (Community Representative)
• One member appointed by the Minister.
