Water Softening System Update
We are pleased to provide an update on the water softening system at the Water Treatment Plant. The system has now been repaired, and adjustments are being made to restore normal hardness and pH levels.
What This Means for You
Although the system is now operational, it will take time for the softer water to fully replace the existing water in the system. The timing of this transition depends entirely on the rate of water use in Cochrane. Additionally, residents should be aware that their hot water tanks still contain water from prior to the repairs and will not immediately reflect the change.
Minimizing Hard Water Effects During the Transition
Thank you for your continued patience while we corrected this issue and while the system stabilizes. Further updates will be provided if needed.
