The plowing of snow or clearing of a laneway, or part of, for any reason without authorization from the Town of Cochrane is strictly prohibited and will result in a fine as per By-Law 916-2012.

An individual wishing to keep a lane open during the winter months must make an application.  Applications may be picked up at the Town Hall, 171 Fourth Avenue, during  regular business hours or by clicking the button below.

If authorization is granted, the applicant must abide by all conditions set out in the approval letter.
