Cochrane cross country ski club
The club maintains 30 kilometres of locally groomed ski trails and snowshoeing trails for outdoor enthusiasts. The trails are situated behind the Cochrane Curling Club and are available from December until March. Keep an eye out for club organized night skiing with hot chocolate to keep you warm, as well as family days to be enjoyed by everyone!
Cochrane figure skating club
The Cochrane Figure Skating Club offers a variety of figure skating classes, including both CanSkate and StarSkate programs and sessions. Learn to skate in a professional environment, at the Tim Horton Events Centre. For more information, please visit the Cochrane Figure Skating Club website.
Cochrane great white swim team
The Great Whites represent Cochrane in competitive swimming all across Northern Ontario. The Great White’s swim hard and have fun. Join the team today!

Polar Bear Riders snowmobile club
The Polar Bear Riders Snowmobile Club is a member of the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile. They take pride in their #1 ranked, 650 kilometres of well-groomed, safe and adventurous snowmobile trails. The Abitibi Canyon Loop is open during the winter season! This loop is a full day adventure in the snow for all to enjoy. Fuel and food can be purchased at the Abitibi Base Camp during your adventure on the 240 kilometre of trail ride.
Youth bowling council
This is a place where people come to have fun with friends and family. Come in to play a couple of games or even book a party. The best thing about Butch’s Bowling is that it’s a place to be yourself, where no one judges and the atmosphere is all about comfort. Bowling leagues start in September and finish in June. Available leagues include women, men, mixed, seniors, and youth leagues.
