Our Town realizes the importance of promoting the well-being of our community’s children. We provide a safe, child-centered, caring and nurturing environment that encourages, stimulates and fosters self-esteem and growth.
Bilingual services
Our services are offered both in English and French environments at the Cochrane Child Care Centre and Garde d’enfants de Cochrane, respectively.
Licensed by the Ministry of Education
The Cochrane Child Care Centre offers quality programming for children 12 years and younger and is licensed for a maximum capacity of 79 children. The Centre offers Infant, Toddler, Preschool and School Age programs.
Garde d’enfants de Cochrane offers quality programming in French for children aged 18 months to 12 years of age and is licensed for a maximum of 61. The Centre offers Toddler, Preschool and School Age Care.
Hours of operation
Both of our child care centres are open from 7:30am to 5:45pm, Monday through Friday. The centres will be closed for statutory holidays.

Our child care centres are enrolled in the Canada Wide Early Learning and Child Care system.

Register your children for child care by downloading the form and submitting it to our child care general manager.
EarlyON child & family centre
The EarlyON Child and Family Centre is also located at the Cochrane Child Care Centre. The centre provides opportunities for children from birth to six years of age to participate in play and inquiry based programs, and supports parents and caregivers in their roles.
Friendly environments
The centre offers safe and welcoming environments open to all families with qualified professionals and quality programs. Families and caregivers will be able to find support, advice, make personal connections and access a network of resources.
