NOTICE TO THE RESIDENTS OF COCHRANE, ONTARIO

We are aware of the ongoing spring melt and the challenges it is causing with water runoff along certain roadways. The Province of Ontario has issued a flood warning for the area. Our crews are working diligently to address the situation; however, due to the larger-than-normal snowpack, rain, and frozen ground, the process is ongoing and requires continuous effort.

If you need to travel, please be aware that you should proceed with extreme caution and be aware of running water and developing sinkholes.

We kindly ask for your patience and understanding during this time. While we always appreciate hearing from you, please note that phone calls to the Town Office or the Public Works Department will not expedite the work.
