The Town of Cochrane wishes to remind residents that;

• solvents, paints, fuels, gun wash products, and other flammable liquids must not be disposed of in regular household garbage.
• Improper disposal of these materials can create serious fire hazards during collection, transportation, and processing.
• The Town provides a designated hazardous waste collection bin at the, Public Works Office (92 Second Street) for the safe disposal of these materials. Residents are encouraged to drop off their flammable liquids free of charge at this address.

• If disposing of empty containers through regular waste or recycling (where applicable), please ensure they are completely empty and contain no residual flammable liquid.
