COCHRANE PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD is seeking to hire a Chief Executive Officer/Chief Librarian with excellent leadership, management, administrative, customer-service, human resources, and technology skills.

The Chief Executive Officer/Chief Librarian will manage our library, get involved in our community, and lead our library into the future. The Cochrane Public Library services the town of Cochrane and area with a total population of about 5,390.

This full-time position begins October 1st, 2024.
Work week consists of 35 hours per week where evenings or weekends maybe required.

While under the direction of the Cochrane Public Library Board, the CEO/Chief Librarian provides strategic leadership, excellent budget skills, administer and supervise library operations and services while also complying with the Public Libraries Act.
