Schapelhouman of TECC Agriculture Ltd., on behalf of the owner of the subject lands, for a zoning by-law amendment has been deemed a complete application and that the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Cochrane will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 sur 5:00 p.m. at Town Hall, 171 Fourth Avenue to consider a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P 13 as amended.

Objectif et effet

The purpose and effect of the proposed zoning by-law amendment is to rezone the subject lands to permit a grain farm headquarters complete with machinery storage, a workshop/office and grain storage/handling/shipping facilities on the subject lands (including rail siding). Further, the rezoning application will recognize the above noted uses to be permitted on the subject lands, being 2.295 hectares (5.67 acres) and 2.562 hectares (6.33 acres) in size.

The subject lands, being Part 1 on 6R-8511 is 2.295 hectares (5.67 acres) in size with 238.45 metres (782.32 feet) of frontage on Lillabelle Lake Road. Part 2 on 6R-8511 is 2.562 hectares (6.33 acres) in size with 350.02 metres (1,148.36 feet) of frontage on Lillabelle Lake Road.
