COCHRANE – The Town of Cochrane has filled two key vacancies in management for Human Resources and Community Services. Chief Administrative Officer Daniel Gagnon reports that “following competitive recruitment processes over the past several weeks, we are welcoming two new key team members and look forward to working with them to further our corporate and community goals”.
Tiffany Reaume will begin as Human Resource Manager on May 19th and brings an education in Human Resources and experience in the HR field in the mining industry in Timmins. Originally from Southern Ontario, she has been living in Timmins for several years with her twin boys. She enjoys the outdoors and is excited to become part of the Cochrane lifestyle.
Terry Vachon starts on June 15th in a form of homecoming. Originally from Cochrane, his career and family path has seen him returning to his roots to bring his considerable recreation and community service experience in a larger municipality in the Georgian Bay area. He will lead the newly restructured Community Services department that will focus on infrastructure renewal, customer service and community programing.
Both new employees and their families will be calling Cochrane home as soon as practical and bring their considerable experience, work ethic and energy to the Town’s staff team.
