Take Notice that an application has been submitted to the Cochrane and Suburban Planning Board for a Provisional Consent to Sever pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, c.P.13, R.S.O. 1990 as amended for lands known municipally as 2189 Highway 652 and legally described as East Part Lot 3, Concession 1, Glackmeyer Twp., in the Town of Cochrane, Roll No. 5639 020 001 00700 0000 and 5639 020 001 00800 0000.
The purpose of the application is to obtain approval of a boundary adjustment consent, to convey a vacant parcel of land representing an area of approximately 0.80 hectares (1.98 acres) to the abutting parcel municipally known as 2227 Highway 652. With the addition of land, 2227 Highway 652 would have a total lot area of 1.17 hectares (2.89 acres) with 61 metres. The application proposes to retain approximately 29.16 hectares (72.05 acres) of land with approximately 192 metres (629.92 feet) of frontage along Highway 652.
The application has simultaneously submitted a minor variance application (A04-2022), to recognize a deficient lot area and deficient lot frontage for the benefitting lands, being 2227 Highway 652.
Prior to making a decision, the Cochrane and Suburban Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing to hear the views of the Public on Wednesday, July 20th, 2022 at 7:00 p.m., local time, at Town Hall, 171 Fourth Avenue, Cochrane, Ontario. Due to COVID-19 physical distancing requirements, and to help prevent the spread of the virus, the Cochrane and Suburban Planning Board has adopted the following changes to our meeting format: Meetings will be held electronically via video conferencing and/or a call-in number.
