NOTICE OF INTENDED CLOSING & TRANSFER

THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF COCHRANE

PUBLIC NOTICE

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Council of the Municipal Corporation of the Town of Cochrane to stop up and close, the roadways described as follows:

1. Portion of laneway, being part of PIN 65239-0873 passing through 1088 Guppy Road and legally described as Part 1 on 6R-9608.

THE DESCRIBED portion of the laneway is to be stopped up, closed and transferred to the abutting land owner, which the lane passes through, being 1088 Guppy Road to rectify title in exchange for a transfer to the Town of Part 2 on Plan 6R-9499 being part of Guppy Road maintained by the Town.

THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL shall consider the proposed By-Law at their regular meeting to be held on Monday, November 10, 2025.  A copy of the by-law and sketch of the subject lands may be obtained at the Municipal Office or on the municipal website at www.cochraneontario.com, under “Notices.”
