Take Notice that an application has been submitted to the Cochrane and Suburban Planning Board
for a Provisional Consent to Sever pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, c.P.13, R.S.O. 1990 as
amended for lands legally described as GLACKMEYER CON 1 LOT 1 PCL 1626LG, within the Town
of Cochrane, Roll No. 563902000100100.

The purpose and effect of the application is to obtain approval to sever a portion of the vacant subject
property (2307 Highway 652) to create a new lot. The proposed severed lot is proposed to be used
for an industrial use and is proposed to have a frontage of approximately 160 metres (m) on to
Provincial Highway 652 and an area of approximately 3.2 hectares (ha). The proposed retained lot is
proposed to be used for a residential use and to have a frontage of approximately 345 m on
Provincial highway 652 and an area of approximately 56.6 ha. New access is subject to approval by
the Ministry of Transportation.

Location: The subject lands fall primarily within the Cochrane and Suburban Planning Area. Please
see key map for reference.

Prior to making a decision, the Cochrane and Suburban Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing to
hear the views of the Public on Wednesday, June 10th, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., local time, at Town Hall,
171 Fourth Avenue, Cochrane, Ontario. If you wish to participate in the public hearing, please email
elisabeth.vachon@cochraneontario.com or call 705-272-4361 x 239 by Monday, June 8th, 2026.
Leave your name and phone number, as well as the application number or address of the property
you are calling about. Staff will return your call/email and provide participation options and details, if
you wish to participate electronically.

If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Cochrane and Suburban Planning Board in respect of
the proposed consent, you must make a written request to the Board at the address noted below.

If a person or public body that files an appeal of a decision of the Cochrane and Suburban Planning
Board in respect of the proposed consent does not make written submission to the Cochrane and
Suburban Planning Board before it gives or refuses to give a provisional consent, the Ontario Land
Tribunal may dismiss the appeal.
