Application for Committees & Boards

The Town of Cochrane is inviting applications from residents interested in serving on various municipal committees or boards for the 2026-2030 term.

Committees and boards play an important role in supporting Council by providing advice, recommendations, and community perspective on a variety of municipal matters. The Town encourages residents with an interest in local government and community service to consider applying.

Applications are currently being accepted for appointments to the following:

Cochrane Committee of Adjustment
Cochrane and Suburban Planning Board
OPP Detachment Board-James Bay East
Cochrane Public Library Board
Cochrane Beautification Committee
Cochrane Economic Development Steering Board

Residents who are currently serving on a committee or board and wish to be considered for reappointment are required to submit a new application.

Information regarding the mandate, responsibilities, and the term of references of each committee or board, as well as the application form, can be obtained at the municipal office during regular office hours or by visiting our website at: Committees & Boards | Town of Cochrane.

Deadline for submission of applications to the undersigned is November 10th, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
